Start by completing your theory online at your own pace, then join us for hands on training in the water. You’ll develop the skills and confidence to safely guide certified divers, plan and lead dive trips, and become a role model in the diving community.

To begin, you’ll need 40 logged dives and experience in Deep Diving, Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility (or at least 5 dives in each area), plus your Diver Stress & Rescue certification.

Want to take it even further? The Divemaster Upgrade lets you become an SSI Professional by completing the Science of Diving academic program (self-study

online) and passing the digital exam. With a minimum of 60 logged dives, you’ll be ready to guide certified divers, teach Ecology programs, assist instructors, and even take the next step toward becoming an instructor yourself.
